Engineered for the kind of performance that allows the entire family to feel at ease, the Camper is a general purpose canoe that is equally at home on ponds, lakes, and rivers. Surprisingly fast for a 16' canoe, the Camper's on-the-water stability is also a plus when canoeing with younger family members. Made of Old Town's rugged Oltonar/Royalex® the Camper weighs in at a lightweight 59 lbs. Standard features include gold leaf "Greek" graphics (from the original 1920 design), black vinyl gunwales, ash carrying yoke and thwart, cane seats, and polyethylene decks with grab handles. Available with optional web seats, new Wetlands^TM camo by Realtree®, and our 2003 Limited Edition Camper with white hull, our popular Indian Design (#4) from the 1930s, mahogany outwales and ash inwales -- a shining example of American craftsmanship.
