We like to think of it as the pick-up truck of canoes! Old Town Penobscots have long been known for speed and efficiency...and at 18'6", this hull is the most efficient Royalex® canoe made. With a carrying capacity of 1250 pounds, the Penobscot 186 can take you, your partner(s) and your gear on even the longest of trips. The stability and capacity of this new hull makes taking multiple persons no problem. Standard features include new vintage-look gold leaf graphics (based on custom designs from the 1920s), aluminum gunwales, polyethylene decks w/grab handles, ash cane seats and thwarts.
